i usually laugh and point at the board and say "ive got two of em!" i find that laughing and joking aruond is my most natural reaction to questions at the poker table whether im bluffing or have the nuts and since that feels natural in both cases that's what i do, gives off no reliable info.

for all the years youve played im surprised you dont have a default behavior.

I simply say "raise and find out", sounds like this is a fish and is going to call anyway, shoulda raised without comment and you probably would have folded

If you truly believe you have beat, just tell him to give you $10 and you will flip over any one card he wants to see to show him....

I once read an article by Mike Caro that talked about what to do when you want to get called. His premise was that people are always looking for some excuse to call, so if you do anything slightly out of the ordinary, they will use that as an excuse. He recommended "accidentally" knocking over a stack of chips. I have tried this a lot and I think it works, although I may have gotten called even without it.

In order to get someone to fold, I usually say nothing and take a shot at mental telepathy

What does it mean when a guy bets into you on the river and while you are contemplating a call, he holds his cards out like he is getting ready to muck them?
