i made the same play with KK from the small blind just last night. unfortunately, small stack hit his trips w/99 and smooth caller had the Aces. . oh well! if my stack is big enough to put ANOTHER player or 2 all-in, i do the same w/AKs. the reason this is good play is because even if small stack draws out on you, you can make up the loss with a biger side pot(assuming you get called). if you don't get called, you just isolated small stack....it's a win/win situation.

cheers!

When offered advice by the other players in this situation, you might say, "I've got a deal for you. I'll play my hand, you play yours. How's that sound, boys and girls?"

or

"This is poker. Its me against all you, not us against him."

or

"Are you going to charge me for that advice? No? Good, because it wasn't worth xxxx."
