Re: Best episode ever. Of any show.
After decades of t.v., I don't know if I can pick out a favorite, but super high on the list is The Simpsons episode where Homer goes to Mr. Burns' house to negotiate a labor contract. Burns unwittingly uses so many gay-sounding double entendres that Homer goes into a homosexual panic and wonders, Is he hitting on me? And then Homer has to pee really bad, and can't understand Burns' directions, so he just goes randomly opening doors down either side of Burns' endless mansion hallways. He shortly comes back into the room to talk to Burns again, looking relieved, and Burns asks him if he found the bathroom. Homer looks around evasively and says something like, "Uh, bathroom. Right." Obviously having just peed in some random corner or something. That episode was one gut-buster after another.
Oh, I just remembered...there was another from The Prisoner I really liked alot. And one from the old Hitchcock t.v. series with Joseph Cotton, where he doesn't move the entire show. He gets in a car accident and is completely paralyzed but still aware. Punks rob him, he gets taken to the morgue and pronounced dead, etc. Super creepy and really amazingly good. |

That's 'Last Exit to Springfield'.
Edit: "Oh man! I really have to go to the bathroom. I shouldn't have had all that beer and coffee and watermelon." |

I think the point of this was that even though you are dead, you keep your consciousness. So when you are cremated, etc., you will experience it all. |

I miss Futurama bad. I'd pick I, Roommate, from that show. The pilot is really great too; it has a bit of the Life in Hell feel of Groening's great strip. Oh, and who wouldn't want a Finglonger?

The Simpsons episode where Homer smokes prescription pot. "We'll even throw in a prescription bong. Now, would you like the wizard, or the skull?"
