why will stars be the undisputed largest poker room by january?

[/ QUOTE ]

It won't be that soon, but it's gonna happen. A lot will depend on Stars' new VIP program that Lee is talking about.

Why do people spend so much time and energy hating on Party Poker?

If you hate them so much, why not just not play there and STFU about it?

how does a site consider prove itself that it is the largest? # of accounts or average number of users logged on throughout the day?

This is probably the reason party allows 10-tabling now. It beefs up their players figure in the lobby.

Actually, I think they when to 10 tables to generate more rake and keep hardcore multi-tablers from having to play at Party and another site at the same time.

However, I'm sure that as more Party players experiment with playing 5-10 tables, Party's player count will increase.

Basically, the 10 table feature will inflate the player count, but I doubt that was the primart reason decided to allow 10 tables per player.

Actually, I think it just beefs the active tables figure. They still count 1 player as 1 player, and stars does the same. I could be wrong.

i always thought the player count was players logged on. if they count every taken seat at a table then they are retarded.

Yes, it is players logged on. Party isn't counting multi tablers twice anymore like they would obviously have to in the past when you had to 8 table using the skins.

And I'm sure that party staff would never be monitoring star's site for traffic and just bump their own statistics by a couple 1000 to keep ahead to make the stock market believe no one can top them. Nooooooooooooooooooooo.
