New pick. I love the food at this place, but the Princess is gonna be pissed. No starmakers to shake it in front of here.

I had breakfast there today, the original Downtown location. Best breakfast in LA. And, open 24 hours.

Never been, but I believe limon recommended it once, so I assume it's great.

It looks like a $200 per plate pick up joint for agents and starlets from here. Not a family birthday party kind of atmosphere.

Gotcha. Yeah, my parents would be ill looking at the prices a place like that probably charges. That would be the only reason I'd avoid it for any sort of occassion where someone else is paying.

IMO, Boa has much better food than Ivy at the Shore. And Ivy at the Shore is just as poser-y.

Default Boa\'s a Good Place

Good steaks, fun place. A bit noisy, kind of typical L.A. place. Trendy? Yeah, but not excessively so. Very good wine list.

If you can get there around sunset and sit outside, it's delightful, although the service is better inside. It's very crowded on weekends, if you can go during the week, and go early, it'll be quieter and more "family" oriented.

First time we went, was with my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my two nephews, my wife and my youngest son. We had a comfortable table and everyone liked the food. So it can be fine for family dinners.

Enjoy!

See, CW, you guys should have let her go where she wanted to go! Party-poopers! You should take her out to Boa next time you visit.

Default boa is decent.... LODGE is best new steakhouse

if your brining the family to any hot l.a. eatery show up early when its less of a zoo, you will be happier and so will the locals.
