JJ is a real tough hand to play post-flop, especially with overs. as has been said 3459 times, get that cash in pf.

but the other thing to note about lower limit games, is that people LOVE to trap. the c/r is the single most over-used move in 11s (and i imagine 5.5s too), so i wouldn't read too much into it being checked to you.

which brings us to our final point... JJ against a board with a K and an A is brutal man. c/f. abandon ship.

EDIT: clearly, i didn't read hobbes' post in which he said everything i just wrote. nh.

My (probably flawed) line of thinking went something like this:

With JJ I wanted to make more than 225 chips.

[/ QUOTE ]

yea and the way not to do it is put in 300 chips while ahead and 1700 chips while surely behind

Raise more PF flop push is awful because your only getting called if your beat

at a 5.50, i could not disagree more with you. people call with a maddening assortment of hands at the 11s/22s. i imagine this is a similar (or perhaps wider?) range at the 5.5s.

second, pushing and not getting called is actually not such a bad thing.

rough flop man. fold is fine.

two pf callers of a big raise = pretty high odds that at least one of them has an A or K.

get 'em next time.

The two cards you didn't want to see on the flop came and you pushed. Not good sir, not good.
