[ QUOTE ] Hot chocolate + Bailey's = good enough for me. [/ QUOTE ] I like to throw in some 100 proof peppermint shnapps for good measure. [/ QUOTE ] Excellent choice. This is my standard warming device when playing golf in the winter. One of these before each side, and a flask of something in case of emergency. |

Re: Hot alcohol drinks
hot buttered rum is nice. heat up some good apple cider on the stove top with a few cinnamon sticks and some cloves for about half an hour. Add about 1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter per cup until it melts. Stir and pour into mugs that have a good shot or two of rum in them. Don't add the rum to the pot on the stove, obviously.

Re: Hot alcohol drinks
Well you can always go with a mix of Red Wine, Whisk(e)y, and honey. I find Wild Turkey works well.
Mix equal parts and microwave. This is also an excellent cold remedy. Or just drink Bourbon or Grandma until you don't feel cold anymore. Strangely enough chilled Vodka has excellent warming properties. |
