POker in the UK could be about to boom, there is the POker Million on at the minute on Sky Sports 1 and then there are going to be big televised tournements by Victor Chandler/Golden Palace and I got an email from Pacific about a televised tournement they have got as well.

If the government gets of its backside and gets the new legislation through we could have the chance to play a lot more live games and tournements than is currently available.

Poker Million is on every friday 10pm sky sports 1 going through tne qualfiers at the minute.

Pacific is going to be on Challange TV (see mail posted below) and VC not sure but is in June I think.

Why? Pacific Poker is proud to announce the arrival of the Pacific Poker UK Open Poker Championship in London, England – an exclusive televised spectacular with a prize pool of $1,000,000 where the winner will walk away with a cool $500,000!

Here's how: For a buy-in of $1 you could be one of the lucky few to participate in a No Limit Hold'em tournament on Monday, May 24th at 21:00 GMT (16:00 PCP Time) with a $12,500 package to the PCP UK Open and the chance to show your skills to the world on Challenge TV as the prize!

How do you enter? - Simply register your account in the lobby!

Visit our dedicated website at http://www.pacificpokerukopen.com for the full low down on this exclusive tournament
