Re: Does multitabling stunt poker growth?
as long as you multitable AND study(2+2 and books) youll still learn at a very fast pace. i move up in limits and play just 2 tables which for me is not rushed in any way so there is no difference from 1 and 2 tables for me. after my bankroll grows a bit at that limit i had 1 more table. once i move up again i go back to 2 tables.
i have no idea about the 5-10 table players. i dont think i could grow that way but i also have tried and just cant do it no matter how well im crushing that limit. i have trouble when im actually involved in more than 2 hands post flop which doesnt happen when im just playing 3. |

Re: Does multitabling stunt poker growth?
I think it helps up to 15/30. After this point, ABC play, which is a winning player's bread and butter is far less essential as learning more sophisticated play becommes imperative, and it's hard to do this playing 4 tables. I base this on my own experiences, having topped out in the land surrounding 30/60.

[ QUOTE ]
I've been 8 tabling for about 5 months now and even that gets boring sometimes. You definitely get used to it. [/ QUOTE ] I imagine being used to 8 tabling like neo at the end of the first matrix just blocking and dodging everything without much effort... lol |
