If you use PA or some other HUD, checking their Fold to flop % is good here. If it's incredibly low I'm checking it, if they fold a high % of the time I'm betting...obviously if I have a better read on them then a HUD # I'll follow that.

Already said this is a bad example.
Lets assume the flop wasnt so kind....say A 9 7. I make a C-bet here into 3 callers. I don't bet the pot or anything. On a flop like this, generally a 2/3 pot bet is plenty to find out if someone has an ace, sometimes I'll only 1/2 pot it. Needless to say this is the last money I'm putting into the pot unless a caller lets me catch a miracle runner runner. |
