Its funny how losing players are so unable to believe that anyone else could win. They are determined to believe that they are not just plain bad. They MUST believe that anyone who says they are winning is lying. No matter how many times I argue with someone on a site about whether its rigged or not, they refuse to believe this is my only source if income. How do you explain that? I have no other job, and I live on my own. I pay the rent, buy the groceries, and go out occasionally.
Oh, I must be lying. It's impossible...right?

Paradise Poker- it's called paradise because only in paradise could people expect so many miracles.

Party Poker- exactly whos party am I contributing to? I especially like the confetti that flies when I win a hand. Seeing as it is so rare, I can understand why they make such a fuss. Still I cant help feeling like I'm playing some outdated video game.

Poker Stars- if you play here, you must be a star. I especially like all the bizarre pictures people put in their avatar boxes. Last week I, personally, played with Satan, the wind, a side of pork, and a gas station.

True Poker- in contrast to other sites which are rigged, this site is true to form. I would play here everyday even if it was rigged if only they would add a Gene Simmons Kiss avatar and gay guy in pink shirt with a sweater wrapped around his neck.

Ultimate Bet: I think it is especially cool how you can change the background from Las Vegas to under the sea. What great feature. Thank you Phil Helmuth!

Doyle's Room: isnt this just Ultimate Bet again?

Pacific Poker: I think it's kinda neat how they couldnt get a web site name so they had to settle with www.888.com

Noble poker: again, I need to see Kiss avatars.

Full tilt: i really like how you can change the expression of your avatar from smiling, angry, or normal. Wow how modern day technology really simulates live poker. One time I actually picked up a tell from a chicken because he changed from smiling to angry so I decided to call. I lost anyway. Oh well, my bad for playing poker against a chicken.

Yes it has occured to me, but then I dismiss it as a vague, unsubstantiated feeling without any basis in reality.

This is the problem in a nutshell. While some are bad players, many of these guys are probably good enough to beat their local live games and may even have been doing so for some time. Now all of a sudden they can't win and come to the conclusion that the fix must be in. What they don't understand is that it is much more difficult to beat online.

I'm a little less hard on these guys, because I didn't understand this myself for while. I made a decent living for years playing mid to high limit live games. Then I started playing online at the beginning of the year, and couldn't win! What on earth? It seemed I was getting bad beat (and I was), every third hand. But there's more to it than that.

Anyway, I don't want to get into a long essay on how and why I needed to make adjustments, etc. Suffice it to say, my game needed improvement and the Party 30-60 game is NOT an easy game to beat even though it may seem as though a lot of your opponents are playing pretty poorly. I find it to be a tough game multi-tabling and even though I have turned things around and have been doing very well for quite some time, I don't take anything for granted. It requires my best game to win.

Yeah, the poker is rigged, but I played on Intercasino a few days ago and hit a 25-cent Royal flush on video poker, I almost fainted. So, now we know the casinos on the internet are all on the up-and-up, right?

Ironic fact of the day:

Nobody's ever lost at poker. Either they won, or they got cheated.
