My record was 1-3-0. Not 2-2-0.

The net $ for the contest is correct though, -$400.

I wish that was all I really lost last weekend.

Thanks for the information. Several posters are talking about coming up with something for this as well.

I'm still not sure if I want to take this contest offline (from 2+2) or not- I have to think of the pros and cons (for all of us) and check with the 2+2 gurus.

As to missing poker.... with job and travel, I haven't been able to get to the casinos much to play poker, so it's really not costing me in that area. Maybe cutting into my studies, but since I'm not using them anyway...)
Besides, it's football season! We have to have our priorities in order.

Our leaderboard from last year are mostly spotting us a week, with a few notable exceptions.

Default Bucs bets, Week #1

$600 was wagered and won, by three punters.

Why is that important to you?

Hate to tell you, but you're already behind your 2-week TOTAL at the beginning of last year- first two weeks, -$400 each week. The next four weeks, you picked up over 3 grand... so maybe you'll boomerang in a bigger way this year?

MCS Nice job just avoiding the cellar this week.

Thank you, Vinatieri. Without that missed PAT I don't even get a push.

Okay, there's (almost) nowhere to go but up.

Mostly to check for errors in my data. It doesn't have much application beyond that, since I haven't collected a whole lot of data anyways, it being the first week and all.

Hey Easy:

Thanks a lot for doing this. I'm in the tubby zone. What's the significance of this name?

The previous year's "Fade Me Champion" gets the gooseegg group named after him or her, based on last's year's change in the rules.

Last year, it was called The Scalfie Zone in honor of our long-term 2+2 sports poster scalf, who we always looked to fade (and whose picks you always hoped didn't match what you were betting on )
His results were never that bad overall (he was 5th in the inaugural Challenge), but it was a tradition at that point.
Now, the 3+1 penalty box title is earned.
