well sure, i would love if he bet, 3 bet, but since he checked and saw a bet, im confused as to why he didnt raise, if not to try to force a river checkraise. although that was a pretty poor idea. on such a scary board the opponent wont usually bet here with much. just betting the river would be better. it would be beautiful if you would have gotten the turn checkraise in, bet the river and he called. then you would win 3 bets as opposed to one.

Really I think if the turn check/raise works you would have won three bets as opposed to two but who pays off this check/raise? No one with half a brain so actually you cost yourself a bet most of the time when the player folds to the turn check/raise but would have called down if bet into.
