AJ, top pair on a paired board

Do ppl routinely raise pf with AJo in MP in 6-max ?

Can you make much money by raising AJo ? Do you really want to generate a big pot with it ? If you do raise it and are played with here, do you go to the felt in this spot ?

I hardly think that this whole problem can be solved with a "raise preflop" or a "fold preflop", because I think that might actually cause more problems than it solves.
