no. i am talking about people who comment on a hand (e.g., "he's bluffing!") during the hand when they are not in the hand. you talk about other hands.

I've had some arguments with people over whether this is bad etiquette or an actual violation of the rules, can someone clarify.

Makes sense to me, but I think more often than not that comment is for their own ego and self-reassurance rather than being meant as a snide remark toward the other person.
