Re: Collusion
Nothing is going to happen for the victim b/c instead of contacting pokertar or starting a useful discussion in a poker community's board you have written/done nothing of use. Ugh.
Basically if you don't write exactly what happened ppl are going to stop responding, and I am going to be in disbelief that I have responded to your OP. Twice. Help me help you man... Peace. |

If you really think something wrong went on, you should e-mail pokerstars all the information and they will look into it [/ QUOTE ] I thought about this idea, but I would do it only if I have something to earn. |

Re: Collusion
OK, if you want a serious response, consider these points:
1. On a full table, at lower stakes, there aren't many ways of colluding that will provide an advantage against a decent players. And if the players aren't decent, you can easily make just as money playing straight up. 2. The sites say they have software to detect collusion, and I believe them. Collusion must ultimately involve playing cards in a different way to how they are normally played (otherwise, there is no advantage). This is easily detected. 3. I have done things at low stakes that could be considered collusion. For example, at a full table, myself and a guy I didn't know and had never played with before started min raising each other every hand for a laugh. We'd min raise everything. Dumb people got stuck in the middle and ended up calling 10 min raises for $5-$10 preflop, then one of us would push in, and they'd fold. We were both playing like donks though and had lost several buyins (so it didn't look bad). Maybe they were just having some fun with their big stacks? 4. If you think collusion is going on, and you can't manipulate it to your advantage, just leave. There are plenty of tables. 5. Intelligent collusion, the one that will hurt your bankroll, you'll probably never notice anyway. |

Re: Collusion
Post in internet forum. You will receive more help there.
If you really must post in strategy forum please consider small stakes but I am sure people there will hate to see such a post in their forum Best wishes |

[/ QUOTE ] For you an excerpt of the SSNL FAQ v3.0 [ QUOTE ] Q: What's the difference between Small Stakes NL and Mid-High NL? A: Small stakes is in the realm of $.01/$.02 to $2/$4 NL. Mid-high includes $2/$4 and above. Please understand that the amount of BBs in play is more important than the level you're playing at. A hand involving two $600 stacks at a $.5/$1 table would pass as Mid-High. [/ QUOTE ] Is it ok with the police here ? |
