Default Re: How many tables do you play?

When I started playing online I played just one table. After a few months I was very happy to make $10 an hour.

It's a year later and I multi-table now. I also make more than $10 per hour just in rake-back. Must be something to this multi-table stuff.

Anywhere from 4-8 of the 6 max games. Depends if I'm playing 5/10 or 10/20 and how tired I am.

though, i did 4 table last night while at a friends house. i was amazed about the reads i was pulling out. Or maybe it was the pulling out quads 3 times in an hour.

This has been discussed.

Tosh plays roughly 30 minutes of 500/1000 a week, wins one big bet, and quits until the begining of the next week. Dont believe me? How do you think he got that stylin' avatar?

You should find smarter friends. If you can only three table, you're probably just as well off going to a local B&M room if one is available.

For those of you playing more than 4 tables, at what level are you doing it? Also, at Party 1/2 and above, isn't table selection a little hard. I think it would be difficult to find 8 worthwhile tables at once, and I would also think that the switching of tables would be annoying, in addition to the task of playing 8 tables at once. I understand that recent software helps enormously with table selection, but is table selection really easy enough to play this many tables? Do you just not bother with table selection, counting on the increased number of hands to get you by?

The only experience I have is 4-tabling up to 2/4 and 6-tabling .50/1. I could easily be way off on this.
