I think the river is fine. I either check the turn or make a real bet. And preflop I either push or fold. Thats just me though. With 10 BB, and a M of about 6, getting involved at all is pretty commiting.

Even in my current mental derangement of new aggression, I would probably either push or fold - the cold call is my last fav. option preflop -

since you just called, you're almost obligated by position to check the flop, but I'd be pushing on that turn.
