Um.... yeah they do. Sat at the same table my past two sessions there (10/20 and 10/24), and the damn autoshuffler was broken, saying there were missing cards. Really slowed things down until the floor "authorized" manual shuffling.

I told Floorman Eddy on Monday that the thing had the same problem last thursday. His response? "No it didn't." Reminded me of the black knight in the Holy Grail.

(Arthur) "Your arm's off!"

While I don't play much NL - I find the baby NL games not worth the time. You either have a table full of limpers looking to see a cheap flop who all fold to a $15 raise or short stacks looking to go all in preflop with J9 off and think they are Phil Ivey when they hit their straight on the river and win $30. No fun and the FW time charge doesn't help either.

Also, these baby NL fish used to be great addition to the FW 4-8 and 5-10 games. Now they make their buy-in, go all-in, lose their bankroll and then go home.

They also have them at the few 5/10 tables in the far back of the room (I asked the dealer a few months ago and I believe he said they have 4-6ish auto shufflers) - across from the rack. I think they cause more trouble than they speed up the game and I don't understand why they can't get them fixed.

"show em." I say. The other two players say I'm in worst posistion and have to show first...yada yada yada...the dealer agrees. I tell them "last agressor etc." and finally can't take it and show only to have the second guy go "i put you on that" and show his 9T off for the straight...

Man oh man. Both incidents are hideous. I guess I've been lucky not to have dealers at Foxwoods that clueless (yet). That T9 guy deserves a severe beating.

There are worse dealers/floor than others, depends on
how busy etc. When Mike is there noone gets away with
anything (he even picked me up after 31 minutes on a
busy Sunday night!)

rationalization of failure to achieve a desired result, a la
