This is a glorified bad beat post, and you blew any chance of constructive comments by posting the results. Everyone's just gonna say, "you should have played it fast so you could lose the overpairs"

yeah right.

Even if villain doesn't hit on the end, and just calls the river, he's still outplayed hero.

I find it hard to law down Big pairs on low paired flops such as this. 22T, 337. If someone raises me OOP I have a real hard time folding and normally get it allin with 50/50 results. I suggest raising flop or leading turn looking like 55-99 that wants to see where its at.

i think i should have played this differently, especially on the river where his reraise seemingly meant the nuts.

[/ QUOTE ]

depends on who you're up against. your average donkey might play the same way with an underfull, or even A3. or K3!

and i really dont know how to play this flop. my hand was so good that the only thought passing through my mind is CHECK (as if i was holding flopped quads)

[/ QUOTE ]

you did not ask for advice on the flop. checking is fine. i think you played this hand fine. it's not like you have to protect your hand. i go broke here everytime. that is my point. 99% of players (barring a good read) go broke here. How else could you play the river. I mean, honestly. the day i fold this is the day i chop off my nuts.

Check/raise will often look like a bluff/low overpair and allow you to get mucho dinero in on the flop. It is a very safe flop for an overpair.

? uh...huh? I think a lot of players would checkraise on the turn. I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

Trying to check/raise this turn when 56 just completed does not seem like a good idea. There are very few hands that an overpair is now ahead of and needs to charge to draw. The chance of his checking behind on the turn is EXTREMELY high IMO.

Flawless,

You are joking right?

Edit: I'm talking about your first post about calling the river raise...
