You would fold 99 on a J55 board against a LAG? I don't get it.

A bet by a lag and then a call by a tight player I think 99 here is a fold.

J55r looks a bit too weird to me. No straight draw no flush draw, seems odd to play trip 5's so fast.

well, ok. this is not my default line in either case. my default is to not go apetit out of position. i might call with 99 here and hope that overstates my hand enough to get a cheap showdown against a bluff and a delayed bluff (and maybe even peel a 9). that line is not applicable ever wth 67.

basically i feel it is my right to win more than my fair share of pots cos my mother thinks imspecial.

This is exactly why you need to use this move when you do flop big as well. I love reraising or checkraising a pf raiser on 55j board when I have 65 - they always think you're full of [censored]. So, in your hand, I would only do this if they know you will sometimes play a flopped monster this way.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree entirely with this assessment.

hmmmm, how to answer this one. ok ,if i have 555 on this flop there are few cards likely to help my opponents but those that do will result in me losing a very substantial pot.
