That sounds really sweet Jon, could you assign percentages to how likely you think a given hand is like there is 40% he has AA3 20% he has 3A3, 20% QQ/KK3 and 20% he has a three flush and then give your EV given that info?

Ideally I'm thinking it would start out ::

6 ways he can have abc
12 ways he can have def
36 ways ha can have ghi

That would yield some answer...then I could add a tweak.

Something that would allow you to adjust down or up a certain hand class. The times this would be important is when the action strongly indiactes a given hand type is or is not very likely.

For instance a guy with a 4 showing 3 bets heads up. We can be pretty sure he doesn't have 49Jh or 445

now if you can overlay this while we are playing we can be just like the hold em folk and 8-table and turn our brains off

seriously though this sounds like it would be a great learning tool to see what kind of shape you are in in a hand

There would be no way in hell this program could be filled out, ran, and leveraged fast enough to be used at a table.

Trust me...I'll make it slow as can be...it will be great.

It also might be the start of my thesis

Jon, I actually have a good idea for a program if you're interested.. Me and my friend were discussing it. It would involve some stats, some prob, and some computational issues.

Lemme know if you're interested.
