I know what you mean, but the fact that a player's life was on the line and Zee still raised means he may well have a top tier hand there. In fact, I'm a little confused as to why Zee raised, but I'm a fraction of the player he is, so I'll let it be.

Zee saw him check down a flop that he could have easily bet to push his opponent of his hand, armed with that read, I would raise there too.
