In Madison Square Park.

I've stood on varying length lines for lunch during the week. At worst it's like 30 minutes to order and another 15 to get food.

Almost a half-pound of muenster, italian roast beef, corned beef, and ham on whole wheat w/Miracle Whip (yes, I understand that I'll be getting a deduction for that). A few organic baby carrots on the side.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think there's a little much going on there. You know I'm not a fan of the whip. The carrots help.

High Noon is a lunch place that has a few restaurants in DC. They have made-to-order pastas and salads (I think the other made-to-order pasta guy might have got his meal from High Noon, actually, as I forgot to mention that mine also came with parmesan cheese after it's done cooking).

Anyway, their soda cooler is very inconsistent, and so given the chance to drink Cherry 7-Up, I took it.

The two taquitos on the right look like cannoli.

I'm on the West Coast and haven't had lunch yet but will be eating at Pei Wei.

I will have a fortune cookie when I sit down at our table and then split an order of Crab Wontons (4). While I'm about halfway done with the second one my meal will most likely arrive. It will be the Mongolian Beef (sweet garlic soy, scallion, white mushroom) with a bit of hot mustard on the side. This will all be washed down with either a Diet Coke with ice or water with ice and a slice of lemon in it. At the end of the meal I will have another fortune cookie.

It will be good and much rejoicing will take place.
