I know. It's too bad our defending champ had to tilt out and throw his money away on what was imaginably an easily read bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's called a stop 'n go. you are an idiot. stop posting.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am smarter than you.

You gotta make a move with the blinds as high as they are that late in the game with that low of a stack when you get an A9

[/ QUOTE ]

Except he moved in on the flop. Easy call by the pocket fives.

[/ QUOTE ]
And of course, Raymer knew the guy had pocket 5's so what a donk move that was.

i think the stop n go was the right play there. he wanted some fold equity. he knew if he went all-in preflop he would have been called. had the board not paired and it was 3 overs to the villain he may have been less inclined to call. he had to make a move soon. this was probably his best shot. not tilt.

You have 3 posts in the thread. None of them concern poker. They are all cute little shots at Raymer.

Coward...comes to mind.

"searching for Bobby Fischer"

And a poor analogy. There is no luck in chess once the clock has started. In a speed chess game, bringing out the queen early can cause your opponent to spend valuable time thinking about potential threats (+EV). In a "real" tournament (2hrs+ per player), you dont take "chances" -- you take extremely calculated 'risks'

I would mock those glasses at the table. Whether he is better or not those glasses are childish and deserve to be ridiculed from the rooftops.

[/ QUOTE ]

Shame you will never be at the table with Raymer. I am sure the world would have been very impressed by your razorsharp wit when taunting Raymer for his eyewear.
