18. Sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta. Working in a lab at Duke for the summer (secretly playing 10+1's when my boss isn't around).

One thing to all the aspiring pros out there--the 'real' world really ain't all that interesting. Trust me. And I haven't even had a boss since I was 24.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like your 50/50 mix and soon to be 75/25 mix, I am 75% work 25% poker now but may move up to closer to 50/50 soon.
No boss for me either here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Playing poker exclusively carries a risk that other business ventures do not--a big a** hole in your resume. So, I'm just keeping my practice going with my top clients, friends and family. I'll have it pared down to 1 day a week within 2-3 months. I can always get back my old clients whenever I wish, and if I decide that poker isn't the thing for me, I won't have a hole in the resume.

I'm also an aspiring novelist. I also golf 70-80 rounds per year. I also watch 200-300 films per year. Read about 50 books. Chase women 364/365 days. And still sleep 8 hours a night.

No time to eat.

Doesn't anyone have a regular job and kids and is not a lawyer?

I hate all of you.

20 (21 in a month, most people look forward to this so they can drink, but honsestly I'm much more excited about going to Vegas)

I'm a rising junior at Duke and am majoring in economics with a minor in physics.

[/ QUOTE ]

19, 20 in August. Rising junior at Duke. Late birthdays suck. Can't hit Vegas until the end of the summer before senior year.

Majoring in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and pwning bk and strassa in cash games.

Spending the summer in Ecuador doing compsci stuff and trying to forget about all the poker I can't play. Making about $2/hour. Most liquors cost about $2/liter though, so all is well.

Side note: I will own Yugo in bball

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't doubt this, but in order to beat him, you have to not be averse to death. There's like a 10-20% chance that you'll end up in the hospital.

Once you get over the whole fear of dying thing (and assuming you're not seriously injured), beating him is like taking candy from a baby.

[/ QUOTE ]

Taking candy from a baby, eh?

I am hereby challenging you to a Yugo/GrekeHaus 'deathmatch' bball game. Not 21 b/c we both know I can't hit free throws. It'll have to be to 11 by 1s/2s - best out fo 3.

I will pwn you like a spork plunged deep into xPuns1her's grandmother's eyeball.

Are you guys saying that:

"fluffer"

and

"Primarily stuff related to developing and financing affordable housing. Also, maintain an Real Estate Web Design company I started. I want to sell that company."

...count as regular jobs?

Personally, I define "regular job" as a one that can be described in less than 3 words and doesn't involve touching genitals (unless your name is Irie).

Well, I do have to file those TPS reports, so I think it is a real job.

OK, fine... my actual title is something like "software administrator." But when I get laid off in a couple months, fluffer appears to be one of my best prospects based on the job search so far.
