Tournament play and cash games have this feature in common: the short-term results are determined by luck, and the skilled players win out long-term.
So to say that tournament poker is less skill-oriented than cash poker because luck is involved is fallacious. Luck determines the winners now, skill determines the winners in the long view. It's true of both. |
