I (like to think I) am not a racist.

But I do not want to see racist posts censored here or racist posters banned.

On the contrary, I welcome such posts - for many reasons: They reveal the posters' sentiments more clearly than anything else could. They educate us about the racism of people, in general. They (should) give cause to anti-racists in the forum to challenge such views and take an active stand against them. (In other words, get off yer lazy bum and do not ask for some else, eg a moderator, to make it easy for ya!)

Actaully "looting" is obscence. You can't fault these people for looking for food in grocery stores. "Scaveging" is a more appropriate word. Show one of them carrying a DVD player and the word "looting" becomes appropriate.

What I find most disturbing about this thread is the fact that such a juvenile argument can be put forward apparently straight-facedly. And then the hiding behind words, "well I didn't say which race". Please, this is not Wonderland, where words mean what the writer decides they mean.
