Re: One more thing - draw games
[ QUOTE ]
So, first, my apologies for likening draw games to fuzzy dice. It was an off-the-cuff remark that should have been forgotten before I pressed <send>. Mea culpa. Second - good news. I didn't realize it, but the programming team actually is working on draw. I don't know in what sequence we will deploy draw games, but once we have any one draw game, then deploying others should be fairly straightforward, based on demand. Again, my apologies; I'll put my typing-editor back on "HIGH". Best regards, Lee Jones PokerStars Poker Room Manager [/ QUOTE ] For #2, you could be forgiven 1,000 times over. I hope you'll implement badougi, since nobody else is spreading it online now (and it seems like it would be fairly simple once you have a draw engine). |

Re: One more thing - draw games
I apologize if this has been covered (didn't see it in you latest Q&A) - any chance in allowing a player to modify his/her seat position as it is presented on the table? I enjoy this option during my infrequent visits to FT.

Re: Some answers to the requests

Frankly, I've never really understood the fascination with rakeback. It's like people who pay too much tax, giving the U.S. Government an interest-free loan. Then they get a rebate in April from the IRS, and go "Whoo-hoo! Free money!" [/ QUOTE ] That makes perfect sense. Why would anyone want a couple thousand dollars if they have to wait a whole month? |

Re: Some answers to the requests
Lee - you are truly a class act and represent your site EXTREMELY well.
There aren't many sites out there who would have a representative come into a giant thread like this and answer a zillion Q's. I am afraid of potentially not qualifying for the VIP club though because my play at Stars hasn't been terribly high. A few W$ satellites here and there...but that's about it. although I did make it to the WSOP via Stars and I've been on your site since Feb, 2003 so at least that's a start. If the FPP price is reasonable for PCA or WSOP entries (or EPT entries as well hopefully, I want to go to Europe) then it is possible that I would bring possibly the bulk of my online play over to Stars. It is even possible that I might try to earn enough FPP's for 2 or 3 events in a given 12 mth period if the FPP price is achieveable by a pseudo high-volume player like myself. So I'm hoping I see some numbers that I deem to be in the 'realistically achieveable' department. And I'm hoping I'm awarded VIP status in the first place in order to give these a shot. It all sounds very promising and I look forward to the official announcement. |

Re: Some answers to the requests
[ QUOTE ]
39% for $.50/$1 20% for $1/$2 16% for $2/$4 14% for $3/$6 10% for $5$10 [/ QUOTE ] I personally have 23% rakeback now on Party. From a fundamental standpoint since I play 2/4 and 3/6, you can see why it's in my best interest to play on Party as opposed to Stars. Yes, your rake is 16% lower on 2/4, but I'm getting 7% lower than that essentially with my rakeback. From a money making standpoint it is going to be hard for you to convince 3/6 and above cash games players to flock to PS. The same applies for SNG players, but to a lesser extent. What did catch my eye was trading fpp's for prize packages, though. What range of FPP's are we talking? Has this been finalized? |

Re: Some answers to the requests
micro, my impression was that anyone could be a part of this, but the prizes would just all be a lot larger and would require more fpps to get.

[/ QUOTE ] What the cat sad. If it's on the reasonable side I will definitely move my business to Stars for a couple of months to earn a prize package. You can most definitely attract a lot of semi/serious college poker players who dream of playing on the EPT or WPF but can't afford the satellites. |

Dear Lee Jones,
You ROCK. I think you are going to send Dikshit and the porn star to the poor house. Enjoy. I know I will. X |
