It is so obvious that the Yankees cannot win with their present pitching staff, I'm tired of arguing about it. Brown will be useless if and when he comes back, as will Jaret Wright. They need at least one reasonably good starting pitcher to join the team. Chacon or Leiter do not qualify. Schmidt would.

What will it take for the Yankees to have a legitimate shot at at the WS?

LMAO! its a game in mid july when he came back after not pitching in 2+ months.... epic- the yankees of the late 90's the sox win last year in the LCS not a homerun off a rehabbing STARTER coming out of the bullpen.
