Agreed. And I wasn't much of a ladder player either so I don't have a rank to put up there. But my record was rather ridiculous. I played WAY to much in undergrad. I'd take anyone on Meatgrinder - hands down best map.

I know that I am better at bridge bidding problems like the Bridge World's Master Solvers Club. It is quite likely that somebody is better than me at actually playing bridge, however. (Does Bob Ciaffone post here?)

I might be better at reading EKGs.

There's more to workign with kids than handling one kid who needs help. Can you deal with a large group of them all at the same time? Can you keep them all entertained and happy and having fun? What about ones with different personalities and parents with agendas and such etc.

Also, merely because you do something currently doesn't mean I wouldn't be better at it if I did. There's really no point in us continuing though. I don't want to get into a thing because I have intense respect for that kind of work, but it would take a lot to move me off my natural ability to interact with kids :-p

Yes, all while managing their myriad issues and running therapeutic groups and incorporating clinical knowledge and individualized treatment plans for each youth.

You're right, if you had a few years of training, experience and background in the field you might be better... however step into my job tomorrow and you'll get creamed. Ditto for me (although I wasn't bad on the uneven bars when I was 7... sadly I later found out this is a girls' event at any serious level)...

Agreed. Good teachers of any kind are important, especially people who actually care about the kids.

I would have to challenge this, considering my team just won the AMTA championship for the second straight year a few weeks back.
