Default Re: Paul Phillips, $2-5 Mirage

I played the Mirage 2/5 game this week. It was my first life NL play in years as I play online. I couldnt believe how incredibly soft the game was (maybe it was the night??). There was one obvious regular at the game that was very good. However, there were tourists that sat down that you just knew they were going to lose all there money - which they did.

It made me jealous for the guys who get to play there regularly because it is so much easier than online play.

I don't see how you think it could be easy to make 2 bb in each game playing 4 games. Its hard enough to make 2 bb and hour in one game but now to spread ti into 4 where its harder to pay attention wouldnt that hurt your hourly in each.

Some players are better than you are.

As another poster pointed out: Other players are better than you. I didn't in any way say it was "easy" to make 2bb/hr in each game, I just said that it was possible. I believe there are quite a few players on this site that do so. That again, doesn't make it easy. However, while I know nothing about the player who was originally the topic of all this $/hr nonsense in the wrong forum, if he is an excellent player capable of playing 4 tables at 15/30, he is almost assuredly able to make >150/hr.

And in other news, you should follow Vince Lepore back to the WPT forum where your trolling is tolerated.
