From someone in Iraq, this is extremely humbling.

I've had a truly SUCKY month. Have considered quitting poker several times now. Have wondered how the #%@! the players who learned on real tables took hits like this and kept playing.

Now I'm trying all the things I've recommended to other people on their bad runs, because I'm about to explode.

I open-raise A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the button and get called by the BB.

Flop comes A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. BB bets, I raise, BB 3bets, I call.

Turn is the T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB bets, I raise, BB 3bets, I call.

River is the 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB bets, I make a crying call in a giant pot.

BB shows...7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. BB berates me for the next 15 min about how he was in position (?) and I had to fold.

The next hands we play when it's HU between us by the flop, I play great, I have the best hand on the flop each time, and he draws out like a champ each time. He was drawing to at least semi-legitimate draws (low pair, flush draw), but, man, they're not supposed to come in every time.
