[ QUOTE ] Or, you can scroll in THIS thread and find the particular player update you're looking for. This set up is better. [/ QUOTE ] are you telling me that you find it easier to navigate posts that all have the same title versus posts that have different titles? that makes sense... rj [/ QUOTE ] It's easier to navigate through 1 post with the find command rather than search through multiple pages to find the one post you're looking for, even with the search feature, especially since we all know that titles don't always correlate to the subject of the post. |

Why don't you actually elaborate on why his play was so bad?

Re: WSOP Day 1A: \"Official\" Results, News & Discussion
Actually I think you played this hand fine FWIW. I don't care what anyone says, the villan is not favored to have 2 pair in this situation. The most likely hand is Ace decent kicker IMO. Not sure whether or not the Ace of diamonds was on the board or not from your description. If villan would call an all in bet or all in check raise with Ace big kicker then I think going all in is obviously the right play but I think it's pretty reasonable to assume that your oppenent would get away from such a hand most of the time given the size of the stacks. I like the check raise on the flop as I would have thought your opponent would have moved all in at that point with top 2. Still assuming that Ace decent kicker is your opponent's most likely hand and your expectation that he'll bet, I like the call on the turn as well. He may find a way to fold his hand to a big over the top check raise on the turn. With your confidence that he'll bet the river with such a hand, if you come over the top on the river he's pot committed (and dead most of the time) IMO.
