I spoke with David Tuchman earlier today. He indicated that it is really tough to follow the action as he doesn't get to see the hands any earlier (or more often) than we do while the broadcast is going on.

I haven't been inside the booth much (believe me, you don't want to hear my commentary as I have the exact opposite of a "radio voice") but anyway it appears that getting the cards up on the screen faster and more consistently is key to having the game announced right (along with knowing stack and bet sizes).

Two things would help. Cut way down on the chat, and turn up the dealer's mic.

unfortunately....yes...

On another note..THAT IS WHAT THAT NOISE IS...see, I wasn't going crazy yesterday. I was hearing some chic screaming in the background.

Dealer may not have a mic, could just be the table mic. If so, give the dealer a mic and turn it up.
