if i did it, i would NEVER get the required hands in in a month. i only average 5 hours of poker a week. i suppose i could do it for less than $500, but i'm also just a tourney player so it would never clear.

is it possible to work off $500 playing $30 & $50 SnG's? i don't know the release rules on empire bonuses.

What counts as a "raked hand"??? I played 310 hands last night according to my stats and I only have 210 raked hands when I checked my account at Empire. Is it just slow to update? I know I didn't play 210/310 = 68% of my hands [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

A raked hand is a hand where rake was taken. If the pot doesn't meet a minimum amount..no rake is taken...and it doesn't count toward your bonus.

I just did it with the code listed. Immediately listed a 500 bonus 2500 hands to clear in my bonus account. I hope this isn't some kind of error they're going to catch and take away.

Just to expand on what Steve said, the rake at Empire starts at $5 a hand. If you play at higher limits this isn't an issue, but at .5/1 around 70-75% of the hands get raked.

Just withdrew 500 from Empire, then redeposited 500 about 20 mins later.

Got the match bonus. $500 2500 hands.
