"I didnt say Kaz is innocent or whatever... I just said GMae made an extremely unintelligent decision and one that prevents me from feeling bad for her at all."

Just because somebody does something foolish doesn't mean they don't deserve pity, sympathy, or any other emotion. GM admitted it was a foolish thing to do, and a lesson learned. That changes absolutely nothing about whether the problem should be fixed (if possible) or whether you should feel bad for someone. People make bad decisions all the time, but when the decision is an innocent one, causing harm to nobody, I don't see why you wouldn't or couldn't feel bad for them. Do you not feel bad for firemen who unintelligently went into the WTC?

From someone who watched the firetrucks head down amsterdam avenue towards the wtc towers I can officially tell you your analogy is terrible. There needs to be some sort of parralel structure in an anology.

It was the "extreme unintelligence" of the decision that prevents you from feeling bad for her, nothing more, right?

I'm sure Kaz had good intentions of the transfer after he was staked the money and rolled into something bigger.

Problem is the scumbag lost.

Granted the 9/11 reference was a little bad form and out of context, but the meaning still comes through. Even though Granny made a mistake, it doesn't give us the right to bash her when ppl decide on their own volition to take pity on her. She didn't post on here for pity, she wanted to make sure it was well known that Kaz was not straight up, and to be wary of him in the future. Whether you decide to empathize with her or not is up to you, as a matter of fact I'm more than a little sure she would prefer you didn't. But don't post in here that you don't. That too, is bad form.

It suprises me how top poker players write like preteens on AIM.

No one gets this statement, we don't write like preteens on AIM.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't get it because you're not a top poker player. Granny Mae's grammar's lame.
