Legal obligations? I thought we were constitutionally guaranteed free speech rights in america.

This is private property. You have no rights

You are looking for a public park.

This forum has nothing to do with what you are talking about. It is their forum, they can do what they want with it, including kicking you off because they don't like the way you look.

I would just like to make a formal apology to Otisthemarsupial and the rest of 2+2. I was wrong to call Otis out on his reporting threads to the mods. I will never do it again to Otis or any other 2+2'er.

[/ QUOTE ]

Boo Hoo!!! I am soo sad!!! Wacki don't you Apologize for a damn thing. That Itty Bitty Violin was funny. I laughed till I cried. I can't believe Otis notified the mods. Hell I got more replies to a thread that said I was leaving then any thread when I was here.

Wacki is right. I am a drama queen, I know this and Wacki knows this. Oh freakin well. Where is my parade float I can wave with the best of them.

Elbow, Elbow, Wrist, Wrist, Wrist, Clutch the Pearls, and Blow a Kiss.

I never left you morons. I read every reply to my 1412 thread.

Sincerely,

Big Steve

it is pretty irrelevent whether or not you were offended by the violin post, i don't think anyone really assumed you were. he was apologizing for announcing a reported post (it is also irrelevent what the post was or the reason for it being reported) because that report was only meant for the mods to see, not to be used against the reporter. and that is where the apology was based on.

anyone who feels the need to argue that it's appropriate for a moderator to do this kind of thing (and i don't mean posting violins) is obviously retarded.

Oh obviously! I still think Ed was saying that they [2+2] would get in legal trouble from some authority if they didn't moderate these forums.

Ugh. The Constitution forbids the government from restricting your speech in most cases. It does not forbid private parties.

Again, ed miller wrote that they were legally obliged to regulate content. If he was saying what you are implying, he would've wrote that they had the legal right. He obviously meant that 2+2 had some legal obligation to moderate the forums otherwise they [2+2] will get in legal trouble.

BigSteve felt harassed because he was gay. I believe he truly felt this and I believe he received more than his fair share of insults and jokes.

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW, steve brought almost all of the gay jokes on himself.

He made us aware of his sexualality in every third post. I mean, if the topic were "What did you have for breakfast" he would say "Gay froot loops."

If I decalared my sexuality (staight) as often as he did, I'd be called a drama queen too (and rightfully so)

[/ QUOTE ]

Great post, CallMeIshmael, I was thinking the same thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

BigSteve felt harassed because he was gay???

Where the hell do they get this bull [censored]??? I am a gay male living in Bible Belt America via Meridian, MS. I haven't left my home and ran for the hills so why do you think I would leave an webpage bacause I got harassed?

Please.

Big Steve

because this is how you acted. you posted about how you were offended and then not long after that you posted a goodbye.

now you act all shocked that someone might assume that's what happened when that is what was acted out on these forums.

that is your explanation. but i wonder why in the heck you're arguing someone the way you are (the way i interpret your post, comes across as "wtf, idiot!") who is only trying to stick up for you.

I just like using the search tool.

[/ QUOTE ]whats your point? There are plenty of people in that thread who basically say they don't give a [censored] if he is gay, and that they agree with him that people targeting him are irresponsible and trolls. Question, whats the difference between someone trolling Steve, and someone trolling another poster? IS one more severe because he is gay??? If you think that, then you are indeed hypersensitive, and clearly the internet is probably not the place for you.

He's referring to things like child pornography and other cases where the owner of the server is responsible for the content.

What? Either you replied to the wrong person or really misunderstood the chain in our communications.
