Default ANOTHER $5.50

My results at UB $5+.50 this month.

SNGs: 65
ITM: 49%
ROI: 34%
Finishes: 7/11/14/10/8/8/5/0/0/2

I moved down from $10+1s after a cold day. First day was +$8, second was +$1, third was -$140. Bleh. So obviously I needed more skill. I'm learning a lot, playing and reading and playing. I'll probably stay here for the entire month in order to secure my understanding of the game. I'm up over $400 in bonus money so far, so next month the plan is to switch back to ring-game limit.

From what I hear, the SNGs at UB are killer. I was going to try it out for the bonus this month, but I figured I could make more at Party without the bonus.

Do you get rakeback for your sit and goes? I am moving to party poker and the affiliate I am signing up with says there isn't rakeback for sit and goes, but everyone else I have talked to says they get rakeback? Should I receive rakeback on sit and go fees?

Yes you should - sounds like your affiliate is lying to you.

The bonus increases ROI by 45%. However, to win that back, you have to play ring games--which are also much tougher than Party. If you consider the bonus as an increase in ring-game results, it works out to about 3BB/100h. Either way, I think it's a good deal.

Playing at UB is basically a cheap way to learn to play against tough opponents. Party is definitely a better place to make money.

I'm assuming that the only way to get rakeback is to create a new account?

Here is a progress update post for my friend who has started $5.50 at Stars: He has played 2 SNGs:

ITM = 0%
ROI = -100%
PROFIT = -$11

8 - 1
9 - 1

I'm just teasing you, Ted.
