Deranged, introduce yourself to me tomorrow. I'm the good looking guy at left. Hopefully playing the tournament if I wake up.

Hey fellas, I got to TS yesterday at around 8pm and played in a 3/6 game, which was remarkably soft. I didn't run into anyone but saw a Jerry Springer look-a-like waiting at the game desk. The resemblance was uncanny. Five hours later I left the game +20bb to ask for a room at the Inn at the poker rate ($60) and got this response: "There's no poker rate this week. Everything is booked solid." So I went home.

Since 3/6 seemed pretty beatable, I'll probably start playing 5/10 and up starting next time. Oh, and for anyone still there, go to the Emerald Diner and have yourself an "Eggs Oscar" if you haven't tried it. It's delicious.

Its not that theres not poker rate... There just no vacancy. I was there a few days tearing up the 200 max, ill be heading bck up monday spending 3 day playing 200 max 5-10, maybe 10-20. Decided to sit the big tourts out, instead of blowing my all my 200 max profits and a healthy chunk of bankroll on them. Gl to everyone there. O and monday throught wendseday, ill have a Orange and white ( with a T on the lid) Texas long horns hat on if anyone wants to hit me up with a sup bro!

So I played a bit of $3-6 on friday afternoon and came to the conclusion that there are way too many tables crammed into that space. I was in the 7 seat in a high traffic area and constantly had people passing behind me and zero leg room under the table. Last time I was here was 5 years ago and the poker room is definitely a lot more active then when it was tucked away by the bingo hall.

I thought the bar at the torch lounge was kind of funny. They have it all lit up like some fancy hotel bar and then they have bottles of O'Douls and Saranac Root Beer on display. Damn this alcohol free casino.

Other things to note, I bought a portion of Daryn's craps actions as I saw him make some world class moves with the dice last week but he had no luck at the tables. The only good thing to come out of it was our party of 6 got comped at the Forest Grill that night and we all had really good filet mignon and lobster tails. I should be hitting the $5-10 limit tables on saturday in a gaudy eye catching Red Sox getup, spreading rumors about Al Krux's faberge egg habit.

Thirty minutes is still awfully swift, though. Maybe it's okay for a $300 or $500 tournament, but for a $2000 tournament I'd rather see at least 40 minutes, preferrably an hour.

Are they changing the $2000 event's structure at all from the 300/500 events?

I believe that the lower buy-in tourneys have shorter levels. I don't know how short.

i found the 15/30 wasn't very good with only one really evidnet soft spot. an endless supply of bad playing, but too tight passive to make much money from seem to play the 15/30 after 4pm, making it a good game only before the 30/60 opens up which is somewhere between 7am and noon.

talking to rory and drG, it sounded like the 30/60 can be a pretty good game but its pretty hit or miss

SC,

I felt the game got quite a bit better once you left, actually. One big fish and bunch of generic tightish types who played their good hands to weakly and called down too much. I was running well, though, so that might have skewed my view.

I may try and get back soon. It's unfortunate to hear the 30/60 isn't any good.

now I want to know who the kid who got slowrolled when he had 77 and the guy had top pair was... because I was there, and I know you post here, and I want to know who it was
