Re: The \"ARMY\" theme is not a good idea
I'm sure there are many different uniform type ideas that could be used in conjunction with this promotion. A "loud" baseball jersey, bowling shirt, something similar could be used much like Full Tilt has with the basketball jerseys.
We could wear some big ass top hats that would certainly stand out in the crowd as well. In the end I'm sure the player's union could come up with several ideas and vote on one that works for the majority of the players. Where I see an issue is with promoting the poker site as well as our own little "union." It would seem trying to promote these two separate but equal entities would be near impossible without infringing on the other's "ad space." |

That "U" word is not a good choice and nobody until now has suggested this effort is that. I certainly don't view what I am doing in that vein and to suggest that we are an "U" is counterproductive. |

We/you will have a shirt and a hat to work with. Not exactly the kind of space one would want to promote to separate entities equally. |

Second, to the posters throwing hissy fits... It is incredibly ignorant... Thirdly, to all the posters whining... [/ QUOTE ] The idea isn't off the ground yet, and O'Doyle is pointing interested sites at this thread to show how much support exists. Please be more constructive in joining what has been a very minor disagreement over attire, an even more minor facet of the proposal. Martin |

What other term fits that description? [/ QUOTE ] An incentive to patronize a certain site. I don't think this will work for a group if it does not work for each individual. Basically I want cash for my action, otherwise I just keep giving action where it fits me best. PokerStars is about to lose me, again, to Party... As soon as Party fixes the latest bugs or Pokerstars gives me my $12,000 a year. |
