Your terms are not as attractive as mine, but I still feel incredibly confident in mine, Yankees having won the AL-E crown 7 years in a row.

One time I won 7 poker hands in a row. I wasn't super confident I was going to win the 8th.

Dude, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and stop pussyfooting with this "max $10" crap?

I'm not sure why you'd do a 1-4 bet, Dead, when you can get the same from a sportsbook. Keep in mind, sportsbooks will most likely pay you; you can't say the same for random posters on message boards. I thought the whole point of these wagers was to avoid the implicit vig. Oh well.

Really? You are telling me that the fact that the Yankees won the AL East in 1998 makes it more likely that they will win it this year? Uh, no.

I'll get you in on it. I'll give you 3-1 that the Yankees will not make the playoffs.

For every dollar you wager, I will pay you three if NYY doesn't make the playoffs (WC or division).

That's the final offer, pretty simple.

[/ QUOTE ]

Uh....I got 4-1 from Dead on the division only. So you want me to give you an extra playoff spot (the WC) and take WORSE odds? No thanks.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wasn't talking to you.

You are the one saying you think the Yankees will not make the playoffs with a lot of certainty and asking for 4-1 or 5-1 odds? What is wrong with this picture?

I'm with Jesus; this seems substantially less appealing than the line Dead was offering.

No [censored]? You and jesus must both have PHDs in statistics.

I think we can all agree that both the Red Sox and Yankess each suck this year and will continue to do so.

Sox are just a game out of first...So why use the word 'continue'?
