Torre has always claimed their success was built on their starting pitching. But that underestimates the importance of his bullpen. Check out the ERAs of Stanton, Nelson and Rivera in the post-season and you'll see the accuracy of what Dynasty says here. Granted, their starting rotation the past two years has been not what it had been, but neither has the bullpen.
