And you were the 100th punter for this week, as well!
This is the first time we've had 100 handicappers in one week's contest.
Go play the lottery- you're due. |

Re: Official \"3+1 NFL Challenge- 2005\" Week 1 lines
Rams $400
Colts/Ravens Under $300 Raiders/Pats Under $200 Ravens $100 I think the Rams will kill the 9ers, they have too much Offense and 9ers have shaky defense and not much offense. 4.5 should be easy to cover. In last years game the Colts and Ravens got nowhere near this line, I don't see them getting close again. Pats will probably score but I think they will slow us down a bit. I don't think it's gonna be the shootout a lot are expecting. Just throwing in that Ravens pick lol just for kicks. I do think they have a very good chance to win. I didn't have much time to analyze the lines and my picks with all this Katrina stuff going on, but wanted to get my picks in before the deadline because I wanted to "bet" on my Raiders. Re: Official \"3+1 NFL Challenge- 2005\" Week 1 lines
this is my first post on 2+2, joined for the poker but its football season
i dont see anything in the rules about parlays so hear are my pics $400 colts $300 rams $200 panthers $100 bangles colts - if the dont make a superbowl run this year i dont think theres ever a chance, the preseason record is crap but none of the starting line played very much, they also added corey simon to the defense which is hopefully going to help close some leaks (they are also the home team, and need to prove they deserve the new stadium we are building) rams - a given panthers - i hate to say it but i think the saints are going to be on tilt this season due to the unfortunate events in the south bangles - I just like their season outlook, if palmer can hold them together they can have a highly rank offense. |

Re: Official \"3+1 NFL Challenge- 2005\" Week 1 lines
$400 Saints -
The reasoning may be considered in poor taste by some, and that's not my intention, but a team that has a reason to fight always performs better. Given that the start of a new season always produces strange results and unexpected power shifts and is a little bit of a lottery, I can think of no better reason to use for my first week guesses than this. $300 Patriots u50 Week one, 50 point match? Yeah right. I don't care how good/bad anyone is in this, 50 points 50% of the time in a week one matchup is not happening. $200 Texans Up 'n' coming last year, Bills pretty dour, oh, and I can win without scoring a point? Thanks $100 Chargers o40.5 Okay, breaking the golden rule of week one under/overs, but I really think these will be two of the very best sides this year. They will both fancy their chances and likely be in the best shape of the early starters. I suspect I'll regret this one, but there it is. Lori |
