Godfather II > Godfather

Agree. In fact, when I first saw the list, I thought GF was the only one that shouldn't be there given GF2 was - but the OP was getting stick for what I felt was a sterling effort, so I didn't want to add to the gobble gobble at that point.

Yeah, Butch was excellent. The Sting is my favorite.

The Sting is good, but then you've got Hud, and The Hustler for another couple. I like Cool Hand Luke as well, but I think these are better.

Shawshank Redemption, but from your list, I'd say the God Father.

[/ QUOTE ]

Man, I love the Shawshank Redemption, but better than The Godfather? Wow.

I think it's Chinatown, Godfather II, and OUATITW in a heat here. Depends what mood I'm in. Chinatown seems to be a very underrated film these days.

Ah, yes. The Hustler. Excellent movie. I haven't seen yet, but love Newman, so it's going at the top of my Netflix queue. Damn shame it's in B&W, though. Hate B&W. And Shawshank redemption is the greatest movie evar!

If you've never seen Hud, check that out as well.

Cool Hand Luke is like the fourth best Paul Newman movie.

[/ QUOTE ]

Which are better? The Sting?

[/ QUOTE ]

i'd say the Sting, Butch Cassidy, and the Color of Money...but now that i think of it, the Hustler, and the Hudsucker Proxy are also good choices.
