Re: What should happen to the New Orleans looters?
Kind of silly since the food is probably perishable.

Re: Shoot Them........
[ QUOTE ]
Thank god you will never be in a position of power. [/ QUOTE ] You never know. [ QUOTE ] Either you are just saying this stuff for shock value, or you have completely lost your mind. I wish there was a better/nicer way for me to say that, but there's really not. How in the world can you justify shooting people like that for stealing? Frankly, your opinion is sickening to me. [/ QUOTE ] No you [censored] [censored] clown, I have not lost my mind. [censored] you for suggesting as such. I don't need people like you who are clearly delusional and of subnormal intelligence telling me what is right and wrong. I am saying it because they DESERVE TO DIE FOR LOOTING. It is NOT simply stealing, that is why they don't call it stealing. It's taking advantage of others when they are most helpless. I can understand people looting food/medicine/water etc. However, I cannot understand, or accept, someone stealing their neighbors TV, or even Best Buy's TV. That's just a pathetic thing to do. Looting things like that is just pathetic in my book. Death is a FAIR punishment, you don't deserve to live if you are one of those types of looters. |

Re: Shoot Them........

[ QUOTE ] I think killing people for looting is perfectly acceptable. [/ QUOTE ] There is something seriously wrong with this mindset. [/ QUOTE ] Than you have never been in that situation. You tell me something about looters when you have experienced it. |

Re: What should happen to the New Orleans looters?
Yes I know it was obvious, man I guess I just expected or was hoping to wake up and see that things were getting better but it doesn't look that way. Instead I see that the people who followed the law, followed directions and went to the superdome are basically being left to fend for themselves either there or on freeways.
Violence appears to rising and consequently many rescue operations have been halted. I see Red Cross officials stating they are all set up outside the effected areas waiting until they are allowed to go in provide services because it is "unsafe" All of this results in me being only able to come up with the simple and perhaps obvious statement that this is out of control. |

Re: What should happen to the New Orleans looters?
It's important to remember that this is not an ordinary crime in an ordinary circumstance. Looting in and of itself doesn't matter, per se. But the armed gangs roaming the city performing all manner of atrocities should be shot on sight. Not only are they committing crimes themselves, they are preventing relief agencies from reaching people who need help. These people are the dangerous ones. This is not a situation where subhumans like that should be given an inch of leeway.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I think killing people for looting is perfectly acceptable. [/ QUOTE ] There is something seriously wrong with this mindset. [/ QUOTE ] Classical logical fallacy. I neednt have experienced something to recognize the wrongness of it. Do you think only women should be able to comment on abortion? Than you have never been in that situation. You tell me something about looters when you have experienced it. [/ QUOTE ] |

Death is a FAIR punishment, you don't deserve to live if you are one of those types of looters. [/ QUOTE ] I'm still glad you don't get to decide which people deserve to live or die, and you never will. [ QUOTE ] You never know. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, I do know. Oh, try to avoid the blatant insults and name calling. Thanks. |
