They allow commenting on the hand in progress, even when it's multiway. "There's got to be a flush out there." When the board pairs, "That could be a disaster card." "Oh man, there's no telling what he's got. He could have a seven."

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, I would put a stop to that. I would hope that they would do something if a player complained.

A good dealer wouldn't wait for someone to complain.

That was a whole hand without hole cards being shown, damn, I figured Seat 6 was on a bluff and really wanted to see.

I think this is great, if you want to learn how to beat a 20/40 game. You get to see the hole cards while watching the body language and listening to the table talk. Very educational.

I am not a big fan of depending on the dealer to police the table. :-) They work for tips. The floor critters need to establish a culture of proper table behavior. They need to monitor the game occasionally, and they need to rule consistently in favor of decorum. They need to explain why the rules are rules, and how every player at the table has the right AND OBLIGATION to be a "table captain."

Not that any of that is going to happen.

Default Hand of the night recap

It happened about 20 minutes before table talk between the 6 and 9 seats, 6 seat AA, 9 seat 1010, flop AA10, fireworks commence.

That chip count had to have been just before the hand in question.

For Bart and Denny's reference, seat 9 = Big time calling station.
