My advice:[*]exercise at least an hour a day, doing both cardio and weight training[*]eat 500 fewer calories than you're currently eating each day [*]tell everyone you know that you're trying to lose weight/ get fit and healthy[*]weigh yourself once a day and only once at the same time each day[*]check your body fat percentage once a week[*]keep a journal and/or track your progress with something like DietPower [*]remember to be realistic, 1-2 pounds per week is good[*]judge your progress not so much by weight but by body fat and clothing size, particularly when you're at a healthy weight

[/ QUOTE ] Ok you're on. Since I need some motivation myself, I'll bet you a pound a pound, I can lose more than you in the alotted time frame. This morning I weighed in at 243. I'll post my results every week right after you post yours or vice-versa, doesn't matter. Of course this is the honor system, but I've taken worst gambles. Are we on?
