Dude, this is a joke. You can't both think the Yankees will miss the playoffs and also ask for 8-1 odds on them missing. There's a huge gap there.

No, the betting odds are against them missing the playoffs. The true odds can be anywhere in between. But if Jesus and Dead are going to do anything about it, Dead can't get a better deal than at a sportsbook (which charges juice AND doesn't account for WC), which is what he's doing when giving 4-1 or 5-1.
Totally weak.
