What you guys did was wrong, obviously, but if you knew that he was going to kill himself as a result of your actions I don't think you would have done it in the first place. Who's to know if he even killed himself because of the tape. Surely the guys in the rec room saw the child porn part. Did they?

not disturbing at all actually. the way he did it was actually more of a way normal things would have been handled and not the way i would have done it. i would have pistol whipped the [censored] in front of everyone for touching defenseless little girls and then videotaping it (then discharged, but is [censored] hands would have been broken so no more touchy for him). at least [censored] had some fun with it.

this kind of stuff happens in every kind of organization its just that the underlying information was a real deep here and this guy was the ultimate scum IMO.

i still have no idea how people are defending this piece of [censored]. IMO, if some of the posters here believe [censored] drove the molester to his death then [censored] just made it safer for little kids to walk home from school. maybe we should start a program to get child molesters to kill themselves? (kidding kidding, i understand its a disease and they need treatment blah blah blah)

The actual child porn was the polaroid pics not the tape. no one but us (up until the point he killed himself) saw those. The girls that were being filmed in the pool from bushes were young as well though.

to clarify the tape consisted of the following
1) girls in pool being filmed from bushes
2) fingering large middle aged woman in the dark who appeared passed out
3) him filming himself masturbating

and yes if we knew he was suicidal we would have acted differently.

I would expect even the biggest piss takers I know to first concern themselves with bringing the fact of his pedo ness to light, not immediatley proceeding to play a prank on said pedo.

hmmmm, let me weight this. on one hand we can handle this in private and have him removed from the military or on the other hand we can expose him to all his roomates and people he thought were his friends (we know [censored] didn't like him but i am sure some may have) and maybe then have his ass kicked then removed from the military....i choose option 2 worse possible punishment. it ended up option 3, him being a [censored] pussy and not able to accept the fact that he is useless to this world so he killed himself, oh well one less cancer we have to worry about. looks like we win here to me.

I'll second that. He got off easy, justice would have been to show those pictures to the girl's father and brothers. Same result, but likely much more painful.
